DESCRIPTION:**Registration Closes April 10th***\n\n\n\nJoin us at the 2023 Diversity Summit : "Why We Can't Wait: Anniversary of the Letter from Birmingham Jail"\n\n\n\nSchedule\n\n	Morning\n	\n		Check in & light breakfast\n		Welcome/Purpose\n		Panel Discussion\n		Breakout Session One\n	\n	\n	Afternoon\n	\n		Lunch\n		Breakout Session Two\n		Keynote Address\n		Closing\n	\n	\n\nKeynote Speaker - Deondra Wardelle\n\nFrom on to the Next One Consulting\, she is the founder of #RootCauseRacism \, a global movement to eradicate racism\n\nthrough the use of CI methodologies\, foundational racial equity training and anti-racism action.\n\n \n\nLooking at a different way of thinking and something we can apply to our everyday lives\, both personally and professionally\, to address and stamp out rampant racism globally.\n\n \n\nPanel Discussion\n\nA panel discussion of King's "Letter From Birmingham Jail" will be held during the opening session. The purpose is to inform\, educate and discuss how Rev. King's words from 60 years ago still resonate today and in relation to the ongoing community conversations that surround George Floyd's death and the local mural.\n\n	Obery M.
