17th Annual Hands on Transportation

Forget toy trucks, come to the event where families can get an up-close look at the real thing! Imagination Station’s biggest event of the year is back with trucks, motorcycles, drones, rockets, buses, fire trucks and even a Batmobile. Come to one of Lafayette's largest events this Saturday, August 25th from 10AM - 2PM. “The Tesla is back, Wabash National is showing off its newest equipment, the food trucks are eager to be back,” says Brian Bettag, the Technology Chair at Lafayette School Corporation, has been in charge of Hands on Transportation for nearly a decade. Mr. Bettag lists some of the show favorites. “We’ve always got a good showing from the cities, Purdue University, Purdue Student groups, and CityBus as well.” Hands-on Transportation has long been Imagination Station’s most popular event and is fun for the entire family. Families get to touch, ride, and blow the horns of vehicles from the everyday garbage truck to a Batmobile replica.
