Brubeck is a name synonymous with musicianship. The Long Center for the Performing Arts brings Chris and Dan Brubeck, sons of jazz giant Dave Brubeck, to Greater Lafayette, along with superb guitarist Mike DeMicco and stellar pianist Chuck Lamb. The Brubeck Brothers Quartet takes their jazz lineage to a level singularly their own. The Brubeck brothers have made music together nearly all of their lives. Drummer Dan and bassist, trombonist, and composer Chris cut their first record together in 1966. Now they are the foundation of this magnificent quartet. Their CD, LifeTimes, was a hit on the Jazz Week radio chart where it made the Top Ten list as one of the most played jazz recordings of the year.
