Description
Join Trinity United Methodist Church in celebrating 150 years of its historic church building on Thursday, February 28 from 5 to 7:30 pm. The evening kicks off with a reception at 5 pm in the newly renovated GREAT Room as well as building and archives tours. Then, performances by Traveler’s Dream, vocalist Caitlin Thomas (accompanied by Rev. Tracey Leslie), and organist Tom Nichols will highlight music from the era and the beautiful instruments in our sanctuary. Short lectures on the art and architecture of the building will be interspersed, including Tommy Kleckner from Indiana Landmarks and Susan DeLong from Kaleidoscope Stained Glass. Thank you to Friends of Downtown for their generous support of Trinity’s 150th Anniversary Celebrations.
