Franciscan Healthy Living Center is hosting the Better Breathers Club from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month starting March 13 and ending Dec. 11. • The center is located on the Franciscan Health Lafayette Central campus in the Lafayette Heart Institute Building, 1116 N. 16th St. • The Better Breathers Club is open to all patients and community members who have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), lung diseases, asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis or other respiratory issues. Meetings are free to attend but registration is strongly encouraged and can be done by calling the Franciscan Healthy Living Center at (765) 428-5850. • The topic for April 10 is: “Chair Exercises and Breathing Techniques for Those with Lung Disease” – Cindy Cunningham, RRT
