Description
Reception begins at 5:00pm. Awards Ceremony begins at 6:00pm.
Every year since 1987, the Education Committee of Greater Lafayette Commerce selects 5 outstanding educators from nominations submitted by the public. The teachers go through a rigorous process consisting of observations, interviews and a personal essay. Each winner receives $1000 and a legacy plaque recognizing each teacher is placed in the corresponding school corporation offices.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
