Lafayette, IN – This community loves a good fish fry! This Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 11, the associated Masonic Lodges in Tippecanoe County again aim to provide it! Bring your mothers, grandmothers, kids, and friends to the annual event at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds and enjoy a no-dishes-to-wash, all-you-can-eat fish feast! Endless fries, bread and butter, and lemonade or tea are included. Adults are $10; 6-16 are $5; under 5, free. Carry-outs will be available. One of the biggest draws of the Community Fish Fry is the exciting Dessert Auction… and we’ll be doing it again! Bring your competitive spirit and bid on home-baked goods like delicious cakes, cookies, brownies, and pies before they’re gone! In spite of Fairgrounds construction, the event will be held in the Home Ec Building as usual. Free parking will be provided adjacent to the building and in the former YMCA lot behind the building. The event is open to everyone!
