The economic development ''game'' is a critically important and fiercely competitive one.  For Indiana to win, talented employees must be available to meet the needs of new and expanding companies.  Internships are a powerful weapon in that battle.

Indiana INTERNnet is playing an important role in keeping talented young people from fleeing the state for jobs elsewhere.  The problem is commonly referred to as ''brain drain''; our efforts are intended to help Indiana realize a ''brain gain.''

For the past 10 years, Indiana INTERNnet has assisted in keeping the best and brightest here, with a new web site now offering dynamic student and employer matching capabilities.

By offering or accepting an internship – or simply supporting a company or intern – you can make a difference in the crucial economic development ''game.''
