Industrial Luncheon

Description

The Industrial Program Committee meets to learn the needs of the industrial community by planning a monthly luncheon program which features a speaker from a local manufacturer.

Program is titled: "Adapting to the Changing Workplace"

The presentation will provide a brief overview and summary of several emerging legal issues for employers.  Topics include new Family Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act provisions; the Employee Free Choice Act; and the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act.  The presentation will also provide information for employers dealing with the difficult economy, including proper execution of reduction-in-force decisions. 

Reservation/Cancellation Policy: Payment is required in advance or at registration the day of the event unless previous arrangements have been made. You must cancel at least 24 hours in advance, or you will be required to pay for the event.
