I am so excited to bring Gigi’s Cupcakes to the Greater Lafayette area! When I decided to move back to Lafayette early 2014, my focus was on faith, family, happiness and giving back.

Unsure of exactly where that path would lead, I trusted that God would help it be an obvious choice, as He has continually blessed my life! I had a 16 year career with Toyota in the South from which I wanted to pull the strengths and talents I had developed. After a brief reflection time, my path took me back to my passion for baking and reignited my creativity.

Between all the baking for friends/family and charitable activities I was doing, everything clicked when I was traveling through the middle of Indiana and spotted Gigi’s Cupcakes in Indiana. In that moment I found my missing puzzle piece — I would bring these amazing cupcakes I became familiar with from Florida to the area I love.

I am so grateful to be back in Greater Lafayette and bring something new, fresh and spirited to the local sweet scene, made with loving care, one cupcake at a time! I was born in Lafayette and went to school here–from Oakland Elementary to Purdue University. I am blessed to have hard-working and strong parents who have always supported and believed in me throughout my life. I am thankful all my immediate and extended family lives in the area and are some of the most amazing people I know.

I also am fortunate that my parent’s local roots brought amazing home cooking to our family table most every meal when I was growing up! My mother would always make everything from scratch with patience and love from the recipes handed down from her own family and friends.

I find Gigi’s Cupcakes provides me with that same feeling of baked from scratch goodness and also helps to cultivate those warm and happy traditions and memories that I have from my family!
