A study from the Indiana Chamber found that 76.3% of employers believe that substance misuse is a community problem, but only 13.3% think that it affects their organization. Whether or not you are aware of substance use by your peers or employees, the increase in opioid misuse is sure to affect places of business in one way or another, especially as rates rise during the COVID-19 pandemic.
