North Shore Seafoods has recently relocated to a beautiful Main Street Storefront on the corner of 10th and Main Streets. After the relocation of his family form Anchorage, Store Owner Lenny Patterson realized the demand and lack of supply for quality seafood in the Greater Lafayette area. After extensive market research, Patterson opened North Shore Seafoods on June 4th , 2009 at his previous location on South Fourth Street. North Shore Seafoods has since relocated to its new Main Street Storefront facility and provides quality seafood coming from the icy waters of Alaska. Among the many varieties of wild caught, sustainably harvested seafood available, North Shore Seafoods carries Alaskan Salmon, Mahi Mahi, Swordfish, Ahi Tuna, Chilean Seabass, Red Snapper, Grouper, and a variety of Alaskan Crab. The fish is Individually Quick Frozen (IQF), which freezes fish as well as seals it, to prevent ice crystals and cell destruction. This process is becoming extremely popular for consumers and provides the freshest product possible.
