Ribbon Cutting - Riggs Pediatric Annex

Riggs Community Health Center will celebrate a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Grand Opening of it's new annex building on Thursday, October 15th at 3:30 pm. Established in 1988, Riggs Community Health Center, Inc. is a not-for-profit, federally qualified health center that provides quality health and dental care to area residents who have limited financial resources. In partnership with St. Elizabeth Regional Health, the new Riggs Pediatric Annex building will encompass 4,320 square feet of pediatric care, including a staff of eight, a Pediatrician, and a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, 6 exam rooms and patient education space. The Riggs Pediatric Annex is projected to serve an additional 2,000 children over the next two years. A full range of pediatric services provided will include, well child visits, immunizations, asthma management, vision, assessment and referral of social service needs, parenting education, Reach Out and Read, Baby Corner and Baby Talk. The Riggs Community Health Center Annex will be open Monday through Friday 8 am to 5pm, except Thursday morning 8 am to 10 am. Extended pediatric hours are available Monday through Wednesday until 8 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 1 pm at the Riggs main facility
