Mark your calendars! Greater Lafayette Commerce is promoting local shops and restaurants in a unique, "shop small" party night full of holiday cheer, special discounts, giveaways and even Santa himself! Our party night is the kickoff of Shop Small, a national movement aimed at keeping shopping small top of mind for consumers as the holiday season approaches.
Come show your support for Greater Lafayette small businesses and kick off the shop small season with us on November 26.
Whether you purchase a cozy sweater from a local boutique or grab a bite at your favorite restaurant, every dollar you spend shopping small makes the holidays even happier for small businesses.
Schedule of the night’s festivities:

4 p.m. -- Opening remarks from City of Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski and performance by the Jefferson High School Jazz Band at Riehle Plaza

4 p.m. to 8 p.m. -- Selfies with Santa throughout the downtown footprint

8 p.m. -- Tree lighting and gold ticket drawing at Riehle Plaza

Gold Ticket Drawing
Shoppers who make purchases at participating retailers and restaurants between 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. will receive gold tickets, which they can use to enter Santa’s special holiday drawing. 10 winners will each receive a gift basket containing $200 in gift cards to local businesses.
Gold tickets may be dropped in the labeled boxes near Instant Copy, East End Grill and Riehle Plaza. The more you spend, the greater your chances of winning!
