Soyoung Jung Opening Reception

Soyoung Jung is an art professor at Purdue University and an artist in West Lafayette. She creates portraits and landscapes, which sometimes become integrated. She will be exhibiting at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette beginning on January 20th, and this exhibition of her work titled "Inward and Outward Bound" has developed from her shift from place to place throughout the United States. The work features emotional and psychological landscapes representing her surroundings and figurative subjects, and is created using a variety of media including handmade Korean mulberry paper, calligraphy ink, and watercolor.
