Description
Susan Chavers, creator of Art Smart Indiana, will give a lecture on world renowned artist, Edna Browning Ruby, at the Stidham United Methodist Church in Shadeland, Indiana, where some of her famous stained-glass can be seen. Edna Browning Ruby was a native of Lafayette known around the world for her beautiful and colorful artwork in textiles, stained glass art, interior design, mosaics and wallpaper. Edna, along with her sister, Aimee, were early members of the General de Lafayette Chapter NSDAR. Chavers is a member of the Stidham Church, and also a board member of the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette.
