Wish Granter Training

Wish Granter Training Once a child’s condition qualifies to receive a wish through Make-A-Wish, that child is paired with two wish granting volunteers. Wish granters get to know the wish children and their families, ask the child what their wish is, work with our staff to do some behind-the-scenes planning, and ultimately, fulfill the child’s one true wish! The time commitment is about two hours per month, per wish that a volunteer picks up. Wish Granters must complete a volunteer application, background check, and in-person training. At this time, Wish Granter Training lasts approximately two hours and is only offered in person. An online option is not available.
